Wholesome stay in Lanta

Location: beachfront. Within walking distance of the pier (although they don’t tell you that on the ferry - 200 baht for a 90 second tuktuk ride). So many restaurants within proximity and an awesome night market a stones throw away. Nice walk down to Klong Dao beach. Staff: they absolutely make this place. So helpful and genuinely pleased to talk to you. Fabulous. Breakfast included, a good selection of foods and drinks.

If I’m looking for faults: the bed was very creaky and the pillows flat. The towels smelt a little.

It just needs a little effort to make this hotel perfect!

The staff are amazing and great with kids. The breakfast is very good. The location is excellent, close to the night market, shops, Saladin Pier, and other activities. The rooms in the main building are also good.

The WiFi is weak in the rooms but works well in the swimming area and lobby. The swimming pool should be cleaned more frequently. The rooms in building number 5*** need renovation and renewal, as the beds are cracked and the air conditioning was broken. Additionally, all the air conditioners were built in 2008 and are rusty. The swimming pool railings are also not securely fastened.

Wonderful

Staff are very friendly.. They serve you halal breakfast and food.. Most of the staffs are Thai Muslim.. Ms.Bee is the best!! She is the receptionist.. She will help you with anything. The location is very accessible.. Can walk to 7eleven, seafood restaurant, money changer only at front of the hotel road, mini supermarket, morning market, street market at night.. Hotel have no elevator that's all.. Others I give 5stars!!

good value for money and the staff really make your stay !!

the staff are absolutely incredible especially Bee on the front desk! The location is right on the beach and is also right by the walking street! the reception were amazing at helping book us a scooter and a day trip to some islands. the tv also has connection to netflix and amazon prime which was cool!

there isn’t enough pool loungers. if you want to get a lounger you need to go early as you will be out of luck around lunch time. the walls are also very thin in the rooms and unfortunately we had a lot of arguments and slamming of doors from our neighbours very early in the morning so it wasn’t the most relaxing sleep. the wifi does not reach the rooms either, we found sitting by the pool was the best wifi spot but we had to use our own internet for the rooms

Well run resort in Saladan Ko Lanta

Excellent well run hotel/ resort, we had to move rooms and this was handled very competently. Very friendly staff. A block of new rooms and a block of refurbished cheaper rooms. New rooms have large balconies some with a view of the pool and sea and some with a view of jungle and sea. Both are very good. The refurbished rooms are not so swish but still pleasant enough. Breakfast is included and has many options. Cleaning is thoroughly done. Two pools (one more of a lap pool) are nice to use and read by. There a number of monitor lizards which appear in the grounds. Hotel is situated in Saladan so one can walk to restaurants and shops and the port area.

Perfect Location. Amazing staff.

Lanta Pura is in a perfect location. The views are stunning. The staff are amazing. Especially Bee, the beautiful lady on reception. The area is lovely.

Lanta Pura is in a perfect location. The problem is that in Low Season, which is when I stayed, the hotels Pool Bar is closed and the Restaurant is closed in the evening. The walking Street nearby is closed, most of the shops and restaurants are closed. It makes the stay peaceful and calm but guests should be made aware of this when booking during low season. It’s so quiet I would be uncomfortable staying alone during low season.

I had a great time staying at Lanta Pura. It was a peaceful place with, a stunning beach and the staff was kind and helpful.

The hotel billboard at the alley took a lot of work to find.

Very nice and professional staff and a wonderful hotel. Excellent and rich breakfast. Super location, a short walk from the port and right next to the markets.

We enjoyed the hotel, the beach out front and the many loungers. The breakfast bar was really good.

The beds were pretty hard and our deck chairs were pretty uncomfortable plastic ones.

Pleasant stay due to very welcoming staff a very good beach access and quiet space.

Very warm and friendly staff, quietness of the resort and secluded from the more crowded long beach with not many people on it, that makes it very private. Only minus of the beach is the proximity to the touristic harbour and at times, little noisy boats or even larger yatches, may interrupt the quitness of the place (without this, it would be the perfect beach)

The majority of the hotel could do with a renovation. It looks dated compared with the pictures when booking. Very loud air conditioning box on the balcony that makes it unpleasant to sit outside with such a noise. Very dark room, poor natural light, you have to switch the lights even during daytime.. Rusty bathroom and impossible not to inundate it while having a shower. The little old curtain, does not do much.

Pool at my room, quite area location

Pool was not clean. Rooms are old and walls were dirty. Douche curtain was too high so the badroom got dirty when taking a shower

A wonderful hotel with superb staff and gorgeous views.

The staff here are amazing! Bee, the receptionist is wonderful and goes above and beyond to help. Lek who makes breakfast is also fabulous and kind and just wants to look after you. The views from the hotel are stunning and the location is perfect.

When booking you need to be aware that in low season the pool bar is closed and the restaurant isn’t open in the evening.

Very Good

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. Let me start with highlights: the view is beautiful, the pool is clean and sorroundind garden is very well mantained. We had a pool access room and it was great. The staff is very polite and friendly. Breakfast was ok and the view from restaurant was great. The location is very good too: a few steps away from night market and many restqurants, stores, food stands all the life. The sea view is wonderful, you can swim in the sea till about 2 pm, then it's low tide time, but it's not a problem, you can walk along the shore, watch the beautiful sunset and enjoy the view of boats returning to harbor. The beds are comfortable, the sheets are clean.

The hotel needs maintenance. Each day there was some repair work going on, emitting disturbing sounds, but the place needs thorough renovation. The bathroom wasn't dirty but wasn't clean either, the window in the bathroom was very dirty looked like it wasn't cleaned for years, the walls were dirty and needed fresh paint, the bedpost was scratched.The hotel has great potential. If it was only given a thorough clean up and renovation.
